- First, verify the recipient’s details: account number/IBAN (and BIC if required), and the recipient’s name.
- Ask the recipient to check whether the funds have been credited on their side (sometimes the credit appears with a delay).
- If the details are correct and the payment still hasn’t arrived, contact your Bilder manager — we’ll check the status and the reason for a possible return.
- The recipient’s bank may not participate in SEPA Instant. In this case, the payment is sent as a SEPA Credit Transfer (SCT) and is usually credited within a few business hours or by the next business day.
- Some banks temporarily disable SEPA Instant on public holidays and weekends. In such cases, the payment may be credited later, according to the recipient bank’s schedule.
